This movie is a deliberate tip of the hat from Bogdanovich to a masterpiece from the 1930’s, Bringing up Baby (1938). In this movie, Barbra Streisand plays a captivating women who distracts a soon-to-be-married musicologist, played by Ryan O’Neal. What’s Up Doc, a movie with plenty of zealous moments, a cult favorite.

Annie Hall is probably, to this date, one of the most genuine and bittersweet romances you can find in a movie. While it can be truthfully be called a romantic comedy, Annie Hall, is much more than that, it is also a very philosophical movie. Annie Hall is a major turning point and one of the best romantic stories told on the big screen.

The movie features the relationship between Allen, a 42 years-old man, and a 17 year-old girlfriend (Mariel Hemingway). Manhattan is a classic and, with Annie Hall, is one of Woody Allen’s masterpiece.
