The synopsis: Sandra Bullock is Margaret, a cantankerous workaholic (some people would say tyrannical). She works as a book editor in the U.S. One day, she suddenly finds her career in jeopardy as her boss announces her that she may face deportation back to … Canada! To save her career, she quickly comes up with a solution that seems to be everything be a good one… She fakes to be engaged to her assistant… who finds himself in the middle of the turmoil before he even realizes what had happened to him

The Proposal is a lighthearted, silly, just like all those romantic comedies on DVD we love. Of course, the movie itself contains some cliche, and you sometimes have to just disregard them, but overall, the movie is simply irresistible. You will find yourself laughing out loud way more often than in the last romantic comedies released.
Sandra Bullock radiated with joy and does a wonderful job. She is totally adorable and it seems that in every movie, she seems to find her sexy side better and faster. And what to say about Reynolds, who you will simply make your heart beat 100miles/hour!. Reynolds is not only hot, but also a great and fun actor. Although it is rated PG13 (due to sexual content, nudity and language), the movie was kept chic and classy.
