“One Fine Day” is a cute romantic comedy with an air of Hollywood’s Golden Age. But the movie is really the sotry of an investigative columnist (George Clooney) who works for a reputable New York newspaper who meets an architect (Michelle Pfeiffer). The two of them are single parents. Their relationship starts with a feud, which quickly turns into a great relationship over the course of a day. “One Fine Day” is a fine movie. It’s delightful, full of humor and can be enjoyed bys charming, funny, and has the greatest soundtrack of all romantic comedies on dvd. A country music performer (Dolly Parton) meets an premature death. The problem is that she can’t enter heaven just yet. She first has to go back on Earth to accomplish a good deed – she will try to get a workaholic widower and his children back together again for Christmas. “Unlikely Angel” is a movie full of tragedy, comedy, romance with a great ending. Overall a great movie you should add to your collection of DVDs for the holidays. |
